The goal of this digital fabrication exercise was to obtain an equal width and straight strip. The whole process has being more an approximation and a study rather than a final perfect response to this approach.

In architecture this can be a solution to double curvature surfaces which can be solved by standardized elements.

 

The first step was studying how by obtaining the geodesics in a regular torus it was possible to obtain the single equal width and straight strip which makes us believe in this as possible way to reach an answer.
